Angel was born and raised in Oxnard. She has been playing softball for the past 17 years. She started her softball career playing in local rec leagues, Seaside and El Rio. She then went on to play travel ball where she learned to become a utility player with her main positions being outfield and 2nd base. During these years is when she knew she wanted to compate at the next level.
During Angel's high school career, she had the opportunity to play 3 years on varsity. After several years of hard work and perseverance, her dream came true. Angel received multiple offers to play at the collegiate level and committed to Chico State. She earned a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with a minor in sports performance.
Angel has always felt the need and desire to give back to our local youth and has dedicated off-seasons and summer and winter breaks to help young girls achieve the same dream of playing at the collegiate level. She has a passion for teaching and bringing out the best in everyone. "I want to help motivate the next generation and teach them that hard work can get you far in life."
